Terms & Conditions

1. About Melii and these Terms

Melii is a brand operated by SRC Global Trading Pte. Ltd., UEN 202618617R.

In these Terms & Conditions:

  • “Melii”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to SRC Global Trading Pte. Ltd. where it is identified as the seller for a purchase made through the Singapore Melii store;
  • “you” and “your” refer to a visitor, account holder or customer using the website or purchasing from us;
  • “website” includes meliisg.com and any associated Singapore Melii webpages, customer-account pages and checkout pages through which we provide our services.

These Terms apply to your access to and use of the website, customer accounts, product information, orders, payments, delivery and related services.

Our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns & Exchanges Policy, Gift Card terms, promotional terms and any product-specific or market-specific conditions displayed to you form part of your agreement with us.

By using the website, creating an account or submitting an order, you agree to the applicable version of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must place the order on your behalf and accept these Terms.

If you place an order for a company, organisation or another person, you confirm that you have authority to act for and bind that party.

You must not use the website or our services for unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorised purposes.

We may reasonably restrict access, request verification, suspend an account or decline an order where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, protection of our systems or enforcement of these Terms.

3. Country and market-specific terms

Products, prices, currencies, delivery options, promotions, payment methods and policies may differ between countries or markets.

Your contracting seller is the entity identified at checkout or in the terms applying to the selected market. These Terms primarily apply where SRC Global Trading Pte. Ltd. is identified as the seller through the Singapore Melii store.

A purchase through another country-specific Melii store may be governed by separate terms issued by a different local seller. These Singapore Terms do not make SRC Global Trading Pte. Ltd. the seller for every Melii-branded transaction in every country.

Mandatory rights that apply to you under applicable law remain unaffected.

4. Order of precedence

If different terms apply to the same matter, the following order of precedence applies unless expressly stated otherwise:

  1. specific product, gift-card or promotional terms;
  2. the market-specific Returns & Exchanges, Shipping & Delivery or other policy directly relevant to the issue;
  3. these Terms & Conditions;
  4. general website material.

A product description or general webpage does not override a clearly stated policy or specific term unless it expressly says that it does.

5. Customer accounts

You must provide accurate, complete and current information when creating or using a customer account.

You are responsible for maintaining control of the email address, device, verification code and other authentication method used to access your account. You must not allow another person to use your account without authority.

Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or activity.

You are responsible for activity reasonably attributable to your account, except where the activity resulted from our breach of an obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may suspend, limit or close an account where we reasonably suspect:

  • fraud or unauthorised activity;
  • abuse of promotions, gift cards or discounts;
  • unlawful conduct;
  • a material breach of these Terms;
  • conduct that threatens customers, our systems or third-party services.

Account access may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, security measures, technical failure or third-party service interruption.

Closing or suspending an account does not cancel an accepted order, remove an outstanding payment obligation or affect rights and liabilities that arose before closure.

6. Product information, images, colours and availability

We take reasonable care to present product descriptions, photographs, prices and availability accurately.

However:

  • screen settings, lighting, photography, image editing and device displays may affect how colours appear;
  • minor variations in colour, texture, pattern placement, stitching, finish and dimensions may occur between individual items;
  • product packaging, labels or minor design details may be updated;
  • styling props, jewellery, accessories, shoes and other items shown in photographs are not included unless expressly stated;
  • product descriptions, prices and availability may be corrected or updated where an error or change is identified.

A product appearing on the website does not guarantee that it will remain available or that every size or colour is in stock.

Nothing in this section limits any right relating to goods that are defective, materially misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

7. Sizing, fit and garment measurements

Size charts, model information, height and weight guidance and garment measurements are general guides.

Fit may differ according to:

  • the design and intended silhouette;
  • material and construction;
  • individual proportions and body shape;
  • personal fit preference;
  • reasonable manufacturing variation.

You remain responsible for selecting the size and fit you prefer. An item not fitting according to personal preference does not by itself mean that the item is defective.

Product measurements may be approximate. Any stated allowance or measurement method should be read together with the relevant Size Guide.

Nothing in this section limits rights concerning a product that is defective, materially misdescribed or materially different from the information supplied before purchase.

8. Care, use and wear

You should follow the garment-care label and any product-specific care instructions supplied with or published for the item.

The following are not ordinarily manufacturing defects:

  • normal wear and tear;
  • damage caused after delivery;
  • accidental damage;
  • misuse or use for an unsuitable purpose;
  • improper washing, drying, ironing or storage;
  • alterations or repairs by you or another person;
  • failure to follow care instructions;
  • deterioration caused by cosmetics, chemicals, abrasion, heat, moisture or prolonged sunlight.

This section does not affect rights relating to a fault that existed when the product was supplied.

9. Prices, currency, taxes and charges

Prices are displayed in the currency shown for the selected market.

The product price, delivery charge, applicable tax and any other mandatory charge payable to us will be displayed before you complete checkout.

Prices and promotions may change at any time before an order is accepted. A later price change does not normally affect an order already accepted by us.

If a price, discount or charge is displayed incorrectly because of a typographical, technical or configuration error, we may correct it and handle any affected order in accordance with sections 10 and 11 below.

We do not state in these Terms that Melii is GST-registered or that every displayed price includes GST unless and until this is confirmed and correctly reflected at checkout.

For international delivery, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges and other local fees may be imposed by authorities or service providers. Unless checkout expressly states that these charges are included, they are payable by the recipient.

10. Orders and contract formation

Product listings are invitations for you to submit an order. They are not binding offers by us.

By submitting an order, you offer to purchase the selected items on these Terms.

An automated email or webpage confirming receipt of your order normally acknowledges that we have received it. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

An order, or an individual item within an order, is accepted when we:

  • send a dispatch confirmation or dispatch the physical item; or
  • issue the digital gift card or other digital product,

depending on the product and our actual fulfilment process.

Separate items within one order may be accepted, dispatched, delayed or cancelled separately.

No contract is formed for an item that we cancel before acceptance.

Title to physical goods does not pass to you until we have received full cleared payment for them.

11. Refusal, verification, limits and cancellation by Melii

Before acceptance, we may refuse, limit, hold or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including:

  • unavailable or insufficient stock;
  • an obvious price, promotion or description error;
  • failed, reversed, disputed or incomplete payment;
  • suspected fraud, unauthorised payment or identity misuse;
  • failure to complete a reasonable identity, address or payment verification request;
  • incomplete, inaccurate or undeliverable address information;
  • delivery restrictions;
  • sanctions, legal, regulatory or safety requirements;
  • suspected resale or commercial purchasing contrary to stated limits;
  • abuse of discounts, promotions or gift cards;
  • automated, duplicate or unusually high-volume ordering;
  • technical or system error;
  • a material breach of these Terms.

Where we cancel an accepted and paid item, our obligation is generally limited to returning the amount actually received for that cancelled item, subject to applicable law and any processing time imposed by the payment provider.

We may cancel one item without cancelling the rest of the order.

12. Customer cancellation and order changes

Please review your items, size, colour, recipient details, delivery address and contact information before submitting an order.

You may contact us to request a change or cancellation before acceptance. We may try to assist, but we do not guarantee that a change or cancellation can be made once processing has begun.

After acceptance, an order may be cancelled or changed only where:

  • the applicable policy expressly permits it;
  • we agree in writing; or
  • applicable law provides the right.

A request sent to us does not itself cancel or amend an order. We must confirm the change or cancellation.

13. Payment and verification

The accepted payment methods are those displayed at checkout.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, whose terms and privacy practices may also apply.

By submitting payment details, you confirm that:

  • the details are accurate;
  • you are authorised to use the payment method;
  • sufficient funds or credit are available;
  • the transaction does not breach any law or third-party right.

To keep orders secure, we or our payment providers may conduct fraud, security, address or identity checks and may request additional verification.

An order may be held while verification is pending.

Payment authorisation or capture does not by itself constitute order acceptance.

We are not responsible for:

  • a bank or payment provider declining or delaying a payment;
  • currency-conversion charges;
  • international card charges;
  • interest, fees or other charges imposed independently by your bank or payment provider.

14. Billing concerns, fraudulent transactions and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us promptly with the relevant order information so that the matter can be reviewed.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising a legitimate right available through applicable law, your bank or a payment provider.

However, you must not knowingly:

  • submit a false or misleading payment dispute;
  • claim that an authorised transaction was unauthorised;
  • retain goods while fraudulently reversing payment;
  • use chargebacks to avoid an applicable return, exchange or cancellation process.

Where we reasonably suspect fraud or deliberate payment abuse, we may preserve relevant evidence, suspend accounts, cancel affected orders and seek recovery of losses or costs that are legally recoverable.

15. Stock and availability

Stock may change while you browse or complete checkout. Adding an item to a cart does not reserve it.

A product appearing on the website does not guarantee that it will remain available or that every size or colour is in stock.

16. Delivery

Available delivery methods, charges and estimates are displayed at checkout or in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Delivery dates and transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

You must provide:

  • a complete and accurate delivery address;
  • an accessible delivery location;
  • a valid telephone number and email address;
  • any necessary unit number, access instruction or recipient information.

Depending on the selected service, delivery may be made to:

  • the stated address;
  • an authorised recipient;
  • a concierge, reception or mailroom;
  • a location authorised by you;
  • another location permitted by the carrier’s terms.

If delivery fails, is redirected or is returned because of incorrect information, refusal, failure to receive the parcel or an instruction supplied by you, reasonable re-delivery, redirection, storage or return-to-sender costs may be charged or deducted from any amount otherwise returnable, where legally permitted.

For a missing-delivery claim, we may request reasonable information and supporting evidence and may need to complete a carrier investigation before determining the outcome.

17. Risk and title

Title to physical goods passes only after full cleared payment has been received.

Risk of loss or damage passes when the goods are delivered to:

  • the agreed delivery address;
  • you or an authorised recipient;
  • a concierge, reception, mailroom or safe location authorised by you; or
  • another destination selected or authorised by you.

If you instruct a carrier to redirect or leave a parcel at a safe location, the consequences of that instruction may be taken into account when assessing a later loss or damage claim.

Nothing in this section excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. International delivery and customs

You are responsible for checking whether an item may lawfully be imported, possessed or used in the destination country.

International parcels may be opened, inspected, held or delayed by customs or another authority.

Unless expressly included at checkout, you are responsible for:

  • import duties;
  • local taxes;
  • customs fees;
  • brokerage charges;
  • collection or handling fees.

If a parcel is refused, abandoned, uncollected or returned because duties or local charges were not paid, reasonable non-recoverable delivery, customs and return costs may be deducted from any amount otherwise returnable, where lawful.

We are not responsible for customs or regulatory decisions outside our reasonable control.

Mandatory local consumer rights remain unaffected.

19. Returns and exchanges

Our online policy is limited to eligible size exchanges. We do not offer general returns or refunds where an item is unsuitable in size, fit, colour or style, or is no longer wanted.

Eligible regular-priced apparel may be considered once for another available size of the same design and colour, subject to our Returns & Exchanges Policy, prior written approval, the item meeting the applicable condition requirements and stock availability.

Please review the full Returns & Exchanges Policy and contact us before sending anything back.

If something does not appear right with an order, please contact us promptly with the order number and relevant supporting information. Each matter is reviewed individually. A request does not itself approve a return, exchange, replacement, store credit or refund.

20. Gift cards

Where Melii gift cards are offered:

  • they are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless applicable law or expressly stated terms require otherwise;
  • they are non-refundable and are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash, except where required by law;
  • discount codes cannot be used to purchase them;
  • no interest is payable on the balance;
  • they may be used only through eligible Melii channels, markets and currencies stated at issue;
  • promotional gift cards may have separate conditions.

Gift-card issuance is subject to successful payment, verification and fraud controls.

You are responsible for supplying an accurate recipient name and email address. We are not responsible for delay or misdirection caused by incorrect recipient information supplied by the purchaser, although we may assist where verification and system controls permit.

Gift-card codes should be treated like cash. You are responsible for keeping them secure.

If a code is lost, stolen, disclosed, sent to the wrong person or used without authority, we may replace, suspend or reissue it only where we can verify the circumstances, the balance remains unused and replacement is technically and legally permitted.

Gift-card expiry, remaining balance, cancellation, refund and reissue are subject to the applicable Gift Card terms and applicable law.

21. Promotions, discount codes and free gifts

A promotion is subject to its stated eligibility, duration, minimum spend, eligible products, exclusions, usage limit, market, expiry and combination rules.

Unless expressly permitted, promotions cannot be combined, a code may be limited to one use per customer, account, household or order, codes and promotional benefits have no cash value, discounts cannot be applied retrospectively and gift-card purchases may be excluded.

Benefits obtained through duplicate accounts, automation, manipulation, false information or other abuse may be withheld, cancelled or reversed. A return, exchange, cancellation or partial refund may cause a promotional discount, free gift or delivery benefit to be recalculated.

Product-specific promotional terms prevail where clearly stated. We may correct or withdraw an obvious promotional error, subject to applicable law.

22. Website information, pricing errors and omissions

We take reasonable care with website information, but typographical, inventory, technical, promotional or pricing errors may occur.

We may correct an error, update information, restrict availability or remove content.

Where an order is affected by an obvious error, we may:

  • contact you for instructions;
  • offer the corrected information or price;
  • refuse or cancel the affected item before acceptance.

If an already accepted and paid item is cancelled because of such an error, we will return the applicable amount received for that item.

We are not required to update historical, archived or expired material except where required by law.

23. Third-party services, tools and links

Our website and services may rely on third parties, including ecommerce platforms, payment processors, couriers, communication providers, analytics services, applications and social-media platforms.

The Singapore Melii store is hosted by Shopify. When you visit or make a purchase, Shopify processes information about your use of the store, including to provide services and enhanced features based on interactions with this store, other Shopify merchants and Shopify. Information may be shared with Shopify and relevant service providers, including parties that may be located outside Singapore, for these purposes. Further information is available in our Privacy Policy and Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy.

Their terms and privacy practices may apply to the services they independently provide.

We do not control every third-party system and do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or secure.

A link to a third-party site does not by itself mean that we endorse or control that site.

Complaints about a third party’s independent service should generally be directed to that provider. This does not remove any responsibility that we have under applicable law for our own acts, omissions or contractual obligations.

24. Reviews, photographs, feedback and user content

You retain ownership of original content you submit.

By submitting a review, photograph, video, comment, suggestion or other content to us, you grant Melii a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, format, publish, display, communicate and use that content for:

  • operating and improving Melii;
  • displaying reviews and customer content;
  • customer support;
  • marketing and promoting Melii and its products.

You confirm that:

  • you own the content or have permission to submit it;
  • it does not infringe another person’s rights;
  • it is not unlawful, misleading, defamatory, threatening, abusive, malicious or discriminatory;
  • it does not disclose another person’s private information without authority;
  • any sponsored, gifted or incentivised review is properly disclosed.

We may moderate, refuse, remove or cease displaying content.

We are not required to keep submissions confidential, pay for them or respond to them.

We will not deliberately edit a review in a way that materially misrepresents the customer’s opinion.

25. Intellectual property

The website and its contents may include intellectual property owned by or licensed to Melii, including:

  • the Melii name and branding;
  • trademarks and logos;
  • photography and videos;
  • illustrations and graphics;
  • product descriptions and copy;
  • layouts and design;
  • software and code.

You may access the website for personal, non-commercial shopping use.

Without written permission, you must not:

  • copy, reproduce, republish, sell or commercially exploit Melii content;
  • frame or mirror the website;
  • remove copyright, trademark or ownership notices;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-extract content or product data;
  • use Melii content to create a competing catalogue;
  • use Melii content to train, fine-tune, test, evaluate or populate an artificial-intelligence system;
  • register or use a confusingly similar domain, social handle, account or identity;
  • falsely suggest affiliation with or endorsement by Melii.

This section does not claim ownership over material belonging to third parties.

26. Prohibited uses

You must not use the website, customer accounts or our services to:

  • break any law;
  • commit fraud or impersonate another person;
  • submit false information;
  • access an account or system without authority;
  • upload malware or harmful code;
  • interfere with the website’s operation or security;
  • scrape, crawl or automatically extract information without permission;
  • manipulate inventory, reviews, discounts, promotions or gift cards;
  • make purchases for unauthorised resale contrary to stated limits;
  • infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • harass, threaten or unlawfully discriminate;
  • collect another person’s personal information without authority;
  • send spam, phishing or deceptive communications;
  • make excessive or automated requests intended to disrupt the service.

We may restrict access, suspend accounts, cancel affected orders and preserve relevant evidence where reasonably necessary.

27. Privacy, cookies and communications

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies and similar technologies may be used as described in the applicable privacy or cookie notice.

We may send transactional communications reasonably required to:

  • verify account access;
  • administer an order;
  • confirm payment or fulfilment;
  • communicate delivery information;
  • provide customer support;
  • notify you of changes affecting your account or purchase.

Marketing communications are subject to the applicable consent and opt-out choices.

By using the website and transacting online, you agree that records, notices and communications may be provided electronically where permitted by law.

You should retain copies of order confirmations, policies and other information relevant to your purchase.

No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure. We do not make an absolute security guarantee, but this does not reduce our obligations under applicable data-protection law.

28. Availability and changes to the service

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available access to the website, customer accounts or optional digital features.

Access may be interrupted because of:

  • maintenance;
  • system updates;
  • security measures;
  • platform or network failure;
  • third-party outage;
  • events outside our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue a website function or service.

This does not cancel an accepted order or remove a mandatory consumer right.

If a service change affects an accepted paid order, we will address the order in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

29. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and optional digital features are provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the website will meet every individual expectation;
  • access will always be uninterrupted;
  • every error will be corrected immediately;
  • every device or browser will display the website identically.

This disclaimer does not exclude:

  • an express product promise made by us;
  • a product description forming part of the contract;
  • a statutory guarantee;
  • any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Products are not supplied entirely “as is” where doing so would conflict with applicable consumer law.

30. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for:

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • wilful misconduct;
  • death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded;
  • any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the fullest extent permitted by law and only where the limitation is reasonable, we are not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential loss;
  • loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or data;
  • loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed;
  • loss caused by your misuse, alteration or failure to follow product-care instructions;
  • loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by you;
  • loss caused by an unauthorised redirection or safe-location instruction supplied by you;
  • the independent acts or failures of third-party systems outside our reasonable control.

Where lawful and reasonable, our aggregate liability arising from a particular order will not exceed the amount actually paid to us for the affected item or, where the claim relates to the entire order, the amount actually paid for that order.

This limitation does not reduce any mandatory remedy for defective, incorrect, unsafe or materially misdescribed goods.

31. Customer responsibility and indemnity

You are responsible for loss or damage reasonably arising from your:

  • fraudulent or unlawful use of the website;
  • deliberate infringement of a third party’s rights;
  • content submitted by you;
  • material breach of these Terms;
  • unauthorised resale or misuse of Melii content.

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify us against a third-party claim and reasonable legally recoverable loss directly resulting from such conduct.

This indemnity does not apply to an ordinary good-faith customer complaint or to the extent that the loss was caused by our own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.

32. Events outside reasonable control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, which may include:

  • severe weather or natural disaster;
  • epidemic or public-health measures;
  • war, terrorism or civil disturbance;
  • government, customs or regulatory action;
  • strike or transport disruption;
  • courier, supplier or manufacturing interruption;
  • shortage or supply-chain disruption;
  • power, telecommunications, internet or platform failure;
  • a cyber incident not caused by our failure to take legally required care.

Our affected obligations may be suspended or delayed for the duration and impact of the event.

Where an event materially prevents fulfilment, we may cancel the affected item and return the amount received for it, subject to applicable law.

33. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the website or close your account at any time, subject to available account functions.

We may suspend or terminate access for:

  • material breach of these Terms;
  • fraud or payment abuse;
  • unlawful conduct;
  • security risk;
  • repeated misuse of our systems;
  • conduct that threatens customers, staff or service providers.

Termination does not affect:

  • an accepted order;
  • outstanding payment obligations;
  • rights or liabilities that arose before termination.

Sections intended by their nature to continue—including intellectual property, liability, indemnity and dispute provisions—survive termination.

34. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and purchases where SRC Global Trading Pte. Ltd. is the seller are governed by Singapore law.

If you have a concern, please contact hellosg@meliisg.com with:

  • your order number;
  • the relevant product;
  • a clear description of the issue;
  • available supporting information.

We do not promise a fixed response or resolution period in these Terms.

The courts of Singapore have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right or forum that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms prevents an eligible customer from approaching the Consumers Association of Singapore, the Small Claims Tribunals or another forum legally available to them.

35. Third-party rights

A person who is not a party to the agreement between you and us has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce these Terms, unless a provision expressly states otherwise.

The parties may amend, vary or end their agreement without the consent of any third party who has no express enforcement right.

36. Assignment

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

We may transfer our rights or obligations as part of a genuine:

  • restructuring;
  • merger;
  • transfer or sale of business;
  • transfer of the Melii brand or relevant operations,

provided that the transfer does not unlawfully reduce your rights.

37. Severability, waiver and entire agreement

If a provision of these Terms is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, it will be severed or limited to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions continue in effect.

A delay or failure to exercise a right is not a waiver of that right.

These Terms and the policies and specific conditions incorporated into them form the entire agreement relating to your use of the website and your purchase.

Specific product, promotion, gift-card or market terms prevail over general provisions where expressly stated.

38. Changes to these Terms

The current version of these Terms is available on this page.

We may update these Terms prospectively to reflect changes in:

  • law;
  • business operations;
  • products or services;
  • technology;
  • payment, delivery or platform arrangements.

The version in effect when an order was accepted normally governs that order.

A later update does not retrospectively remove an accrued right or change an accepted order unless required by law or expressly agreed.

Your continued future use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for that future use.
